Viola Organista
The viola organista was designed to be both a string instrument while also a keyboard. Although it was never actually built in his lifetime, his sketches of it are recorded in his "Codex Atlanticus." The instrument is equipped with a keyboard and strings, that turns the wheels in the front to create noise. Many say it is a mix of a harpsichord, organ, and violin da gamba. But others just say it is a work of art that plays music.
