LEONARDO DA VINCI a renaissance man

Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci is arguably one of the most famous historical figures in all of history. He was a true “Renaissance Man,” being a master of so many subjects including, painting, sculpting, science, anatomy, math, engineering, inventing, and more. Apart from being skilled at a lot of things, why was Leonardo important to history? Well within his talents he did many productive things!  Leonardo had a mind way ahead of his time. He dreamed of flying, breathing underwater, and defying the laws of nature! He challenged the normal of everyday life and reached for the stars! If people could’ve understood his works back in his time, the world could have had cars, robots, or 21st century advancements in the renaissance! Even if they were unknown, many of Leonardo’s works made history. His art inspired and still inspires many people (including artists such as Raphael). His notes on anatomy are still being used today to come up with medical advancements or are being used as resources in the medical field. His discovery of the scientific method has ruled over the world of science for hundreds of years! That is why Leonardo is important to history. But even the things we don’t know about him yet are still important. Even if none of them are or were known in his time, they still are amazing to behold and prove how much of a genius Leonardo actually was. I believe that they will keep inspiring people for many future years to come and he will always be a very important person to history.
