The name "triple barreled cannon" is pretty much self explanatory. This invention was designed to speed up cannon fire, increase damage, and lessen the amount of times needed for reloading. Also, the cannon was light weight and had wheels to easily be able to move across the battle field. This was one of many of Leonardo's brilliant weapon ideas. The others include a giant crossbow, steam powered cannon, and the machine gun.
